On November 22nd, we conducted the initial meeting that signified the establishment of our community focused on advancing Open Data principles in research utilizing naturally occurring data. This gathering marked a pivotal moment in our collective journey towards fostering transparency, collaboration, and innovation in the realm of data-driven research. During this meeting, a diverse group of stakeholders, including researchers, data scientists, policy makers, and advocates for open access, came together to share their insights and experiences.
