On the 11th of December, we are excited to launch the newly established Community of Practice for Open Naturally Occurring Data and reveal the website that hosts resources which support the adoption of Open Data practices by researchers working with naturally occurring data.

About the event
Mid-December, while everyone was preparing for a well-deserved winter holiday, we were preparing for… our long-expected launch event. On a cold, but bright Wednesday afternoon, we gathered in a cosy room at the VU to celebrate the launch of this very website and our community of practice.
The event comprised a lively presentation of website, expertly led by Elisa Andrade, followed by an introduction of the community of practice and its aims to foster collaboration, shared learning and knowledge exchange.
And of course, as any meaningful gathering should, it ended with a celebration involving cake and drinks.
